From experience to theory: Science recreation workshops as a practice-led approach in informal environments for science learning

Science recreation workshops (SRWs) create dynamic experiences in which participants discover, explore and understand natural phenomena. This serves as a unique valuable means of the public communication science technology informal education activities, with at centre process. To achieve this, SRWs integrate action reflection not dichotomy, but complementary relation sensorial interaction is thoughtless process mental activity disembodied. In this way, virtuous cycles meaningful learning. However, SRW practitioners thus far have paid enough attention to development theoretical foundation support their strategies; they remain highly dependent on empirical experience tacit knowledge.
